Jesus Transforms Lives

Jesus Christ is the hope of the world and the center of our individual lives. His love and grace alone transforms us and give us new life because He forgives, heals, and restores. In contrast to the competing messages of the world, we believe Jesus gives value, identity, and purpose for our lives. (Rev. 21:5, 2Cor. 5:17, Rom. 8:28-29, Rom. 12:2, John 3:16-18, John 14:6)

The Bible is a Catalyst for Transformed Lives

The Bible is God’s written word for us. God speaks to us through the Bible and guides our daily living. Through prayerful and consistent study of His word, God makes Himself known to us and we find help, hope, and healing. As a result, we grow in our faith, lives are changed, and relationships are deepened. (Acts 20:32, 2 Tim. 3:14-17, 1 Peter 1:23-25)

Lost People Matter to God and Therefore They Matter to Us

Jesus was sent to reconcile a lost world to God and He calls us to do the same. We equip ourselves to befriend and introduce lost people to Jesus and the new life He offers by connecting them to the community of faith.

(Luke 5:30-32, Luke 15, Luke 19:1-10, Matt. 18:14, 2 Cor. 5:18-20)

Worship is an Experience with God

Worship is a dynamic, relevant and authentic encounter with God. This takes place weekly in public worship, and daily in our individual lives. (John 4:21-24, Rom. 12:1)

Following Jesus is a Growth Experience

Growing in Jesus Christ ought to be normal for every follower of Christ. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to move from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity. This is a daily and lifelong experience that strives to bring people into an ever-growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This growth happens best in small groups, personal study, and prayer. As we grow in faith, our hearts are turned towards God, and we freely and cheerfully give of ourselves and our resources. (Eph. 4:15, Heb. 12:1-2)

Every Believer is a Minister

Every believer has been equipped with spiritual gifts for ministry in the church and for mission in the world. True joy comes from serving others in Christ, therefore we seek to help people discover their spiritual gifts and match their passions to ministry opportunities. (Eph. 4:11-12, 1 Peter 2:9-10)

Excellence Honors God and Inspires People

Prayer, creativity, careful preparation, and evaluation elevates the ministry and mission of the church. We are committed to the pursuit of excellence in joyful response to the Grace of God. (2 Cor. 8:7, Col. 3:17, Mark 12:28-31, Proverbs 27:17)
