Hospital  Visitation Team.  Hospital Visitation Team members make visits to those who are hospitalized.  Team members visit briefly and offer blessing, comfort and prayer for the hospitalized patient and the patient’s family, if appropriate.  The patient's general condition and energy level determines the length and nature of the visit.  Team members also assess any special needs the patient and/or family may have, e.g. meals, post-hospitalization needs, etc.  The assigned team member makes follow-up visits to the patient as long as the patient is in the hospital.  Hospital Visitation Team members receive a brief orientation before being assigned.

Stephen Ministry

Christ Caring for People through People

Stephen Ministry is a program that equips lay persons to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.

There are times when each of us needs the care of another person, a Christian friend, a Stephen Minister.  These needs include but are not limited to those:  hospitalized; terminally ill and their families; people who move into or out of our community; grieving a death or serious loss; homebound and institutionalized; with a job crisis; aging and elderly; with disabilities and their families; needing support of a Christian friend; facing life transitions; separated or divorced; or, in spiritual crisis.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”  Gal 6:2
