DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K).     Helping Children Heal from the Hurt of Divorce.

 

DivorceCare of Kids is a special group to help children (ages 5-12) heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents.  As a comprehensive biblically based and Christ-centered program, DC4K allows kids to make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through.  Best of all, they learn how God’s love can strengthen them and help turn tears to hope and joy!  Our DC4K group meets weekly and combines games, crafts, activities, music and DVD dramas to create a fun atmosphere where children feel comfortable and accepted.  They look forward to each time their DC4K “family” gets together.

 

Meets:  Thursday evenings, 6:15 – 8:00, East Hall (Nursey area) – Childcare provided.  DC4K is OPEN - children can begin attending at any time during the 14-week cycle.  Next cycle begins on September 4, 2008.  DivorceCare is offered concurrently with DC4K.  A one-time fee of $15 is requested to attend the group.  For information, call Lisa Witkop at (402) 293-9067, or the church office (402) 292-2695.  Go to www.DC4K.org for more information about DivorceCare for Kids.
