Possible Volunteer Opportunities within Awana Club at Thanksgiving! Lutheran Church
· Listeners – assist Team Leaders by listening to clubbers recite their memory work each week.
· Game Director(s) – plan and direct games for each club using established Awana Club games.
· Council Time – we are looking for people who love to share their knowledge and experience by teaching a group of children. Each week there is a theme, character quality focus, Bible verse, and written lesson. All you need to do is pick ONE Wednesday during the year and then come and share your enthusiasm with our clubbers.
· Prayer Support – commit to praying for our Awana Club ministry on a weekly basis along with specific prayer requests as needed.
· Registration – assist with fall registration.
· Awana Club Store Director – coordinate the Awana Club store, open twice per year, including donations, set-up, and clubber purchases.
· Awana Club Store Helper – come on store night (December & April) to help set up, walk clubbers through their purchases, and clean up.
· Leader in Training (LiT) – teenagers in 9th and 10th grade assist Team Leaders.
· Creative – work with Director to develop/create presentation material for the club including special events.
· Any other talent/skill you would be willing to share to help reach children and/or increase the impact of Awana on existing clubbers.
