Living A Missional Life!
It was great to hear all of your stories from our summer of ministry. We are going to try and create some space for you to continue sharing stories of what it means to live missionally all year around. God has a purpose for our lives in every season as we seek to live in His will.
One family related to me what they do at the beginning of each school year. Each year this family writes the teachers of their children a note to say the following: “We are the parents of ____ and _____. We are thankful that you are their teachers. We want you to know that you can count on us to be praying for you, to support you, and to partner with you in teaching our children. We feel very blessed to have so many opportunities for our children to learn and develop. Please let us know how we can be a blessing to you and your classroom. “
It is a simple thing, but yet very powerful. Lisa and I are going to send a note. Why don’t you send one too? What a difference it could make in our schools. Let’s use this forum to share other ways to extend God’s kingdom, so that earth looks a little more like heaven every day.
