The Power Surge ministry has transitioned from children’s ministry to youth ministry (with the exception of AWANA) and will have three parts:

Wednesday Night

The 5^th and 6^th graders will meet with the 3^rd and 4^th graders for the AWANA Truth and Training Club from 6:30-8:00. You can find out more information about AWANA in the children’s ministry section of our website.

Sunday Morning

At 9:30 the Power Surge youth will be studying the 10 commandments, the Lord’s Prayer and Apostle’s creed. In the Chain Reaction Room in the South Campus of the Church.

Monthly Special Events

The Power Surge youth will meet one Saturday or Friday night each month for something fun and exciting.  To see what the activity for this month is, go to the youth ministry page and download this month's newsletter!

Thursday July 29 - Pool Party at Cascio Pool; 7PM-9PM - Bring a friend, $5 and a towel.  No bikinis (boys or girls).  Food will be provided!

July 31 & August 1 - Youth will lead worship!  Worship Leaders, Greeters, Ushers..all are needed.  Contact Mark to volunteer! mark.richards@thanks-giving.org

Sunday, August 22 - Dress for Mess; 2PM-5PM.  Wear something that can get wet! Bring a towel and a friend.

Sunday August 29 - Sunday School begins; 9:30AM

On August 29th we will be having a concert for all youth from 6-8 in the FLC featuring Willet. This is going to be a great concert from national level touring bands.  You don't want to miss out on this one.  Click below for more info and to hear some of their music.
