Open Door Mission (www.opendoormission.org)

A Gospel Rescue Mission, founded in 1954, to rescue the poor and needy by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equip men, women, and children with the needed tools to become self-sufficient and independent. Each day, Open Door Mission Ministries provides men, women, and children with safe shelter beds, serves nearly 1,500 hot nutritious meals, and provides preventive measures to more than 250 families living in poverty. The Mission also offers life-changing programs for those recovering from life-altering addictions and abuse to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty. For Project Serve Day, T!LC has been sorting and organizing donated items at the Mission’s Timberlake Outreach Center.
