The documentary RESILIENCE asserts that trauma caused by childhood abuse and neglect can trigger hormones that wreak havoc on the brains and bodies of children, putting them at greater risk for disease, homelessness, prison time, and early death. RESILIENCE also spotlights trailblazers who are using cutting-edge science and field-tested therapies to protect children from toxic stress.
The post-show discussion panel will be composed of experts in the fields of child development, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
