WELCOME! to Thanksgiving! Lutheran Church and to Chain Reaction, our High School Ministry for all students in 9-12 grade! We are excited that you chose to check out our ministry and hope that every student can find an area that they can plug into and find or deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ! Please check back often as we are in the process of transitioning and updating information with our ministry!

Weekly Opportunities

Sunday MorningWe offer a Sunday morning class for high school students in the T!LC South Campus Conference Room. This class is offered from 9:30-10:30am and focuses on the "Core Truth" of Christianity. Students wil get an in-depth study of the Nature of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Sunday EveningSunday night is our large group ministry and meets from 6:00-8:00pm. Sunday night focuses on four major components of our relationship with Jesus Christ and other believers: Bible Study, Fellowship, Worship, and Missions. Each month will be on a four week rotation:

Week 1: Food for thought Bible Study: Each student is asked to bring a snack or drink to share that begins with the letter of the topic for this evening. Look in the Messenger or check the website for each month's letter. We will meet at Rob and Janine Wegner's home for dinner, Bible Study and small groups.

Week 2: Fellowship Night: This night will focus on our fellowship with other believers as well as non-believers. While friends are welcome at all our events, this is especially a great night to invite friends to check us out on a very "non-threatening level". We will do various activities, such as bowling, games in the chain reaction room, etc. Check the calendar for up to date activities.

Week 3: Worship & Message: Come and worship God with hour high school worship band in the Chain Reaction room at church! A message will also be given to help students apply God's word to where they are in their lives.

Week 4: Missions: Live out Matthew 28:19 where Jesus call us to "go out and be disciples of all nations". We will do various mission projects throughout the Bellevue and Omaha area.

Life GroupsLife Groups are high school small groups that meet on various nights of the week. These groups have between 5-10 students in them and allow students to go deeper in their study of God's word as well as have fellowship with friends and other believers and have a caring adult who is walking beside them in their faith walk. We have groups that meet every night of the week (Monday - Thursday) and vary between times and genders (all girls, all guys, co-ed). Worship TeamOur worship team meets Sunday evenings from 4:30-5:45pm before Chain Reaction. If you play an instrument or just enjoy helping with worship, come and join us!

Volunteer OpportunitiesWe are always looking for people (Young and Old!) to volunteer with our ministry. Right now our current needs are:
