High School Ministry

Chain Reaction ministry has many parts:

Wednesday NightCross Culture meets from 6:30-8:00pm.  Cross Culture is a group of students who are committed to serving in the community and living out Matthew 25:40 "And the King will say, 'I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of the these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!"
 
Sunday NightThe 9th - 12th graders will meet together at Rob and Janine Wegner’s house (13913 39th Cir.) each Sunday night from 6-8. The first Sunday of the month, we will also meet for dinner from 5-6.  The meetings will include activities, games, large group teaching and small group “huddle” time.
 
Sunday MorningAt 9:30 the Chain Reaction youth will be using the AWANA curriculum for Sunday School. This year we will be studying an overview of the entire Bible and then look at 12 frequently asked questions about the faith.
Special Events
Wednesday September 1 - Cross Culture begins; 6:30PM-8PM
 
September 4-6 - Life Light!  Trek to South Dakota for amazing bands and an amazing experience!
We will be meeting at the church at 9 am on Saturday morning and will return on Monday around noon.  The cost is $25 for food, lodging and transporation.  You'll also need to bring at least $10 for meals on the road.  You may want to bring some extra spending money for t-shirts, cd's etc.  You'll need to bring sunscreen, a new SMERF and the signed covenant, sleeping bag, pillow, pad, warm jacket and pants for potentially cool evenings and mornings, bug spray, a large tent (if you have one), extra clothes, toiletries, a flashlight, reusable water bottle, and good shoes.
 
September 12 - Mid Size Community begins; 6:00PM-8PM
 
 
We have started four different upLink small groups and are looking at more. These groups meet at different nights of the week in different homes.  If you are interested in joining a high school small group, please contact Mark!
