Youth Ministry

                                                       
Why we do what we do:Youth have the energy and the drive to bring God's Kingdom to those around them.  But they also need the wisdom and direction of those who are more experienced in the faith. 
How we do it:The ministry of Christ was relational. That's one reason Jesus came as a human being, to relate to us on a human level and show us how to relate to each other.  We believe that becoming a follower of Christ and growing in that relationship are best shared in a community.  Because of this, we use what we call "huddle groups" to help young people grow in their faith.  With adult huddle leaders and a small group of their peers, youth are challenged to live a balanced faith life by living up with God, in with other Christ followers and out in service to the community.
How you can get involved:Our 5th and 6th grade ministry is called Power Surge. Our 7th and 8th grade ministry is called High Voltage.  Our high school ministry is called Chain Reaction.  Please visit the individual pages to find out more about each ministry or send an email to mark@thanks-giving.org.
